Description:

Purpose

The EPQ was designed to assess the personality traits of psychoticism, extraversion, neuroticism, and social desirability. Questions assessing impulsivity are in the psychoticism sub-scale and questions assessing sensation-seeking and venturesomeness are in the extraversion sub-scale. These latter constructs are presumed to contribute to risk preferences.
