J. Frank Yates, a much-loved member of the SJDM community, passed away November 19, 2020. The society is endowing a student travel award in Frank’s honor. The travel fund will support underrepresented minorities as they attend the SJDM conference. The goal is to raise enough money to support several awards per year. The society has received initial seed funds. We are grateful for your contribution to this fund in Frank’s memory.
You may donate with a credit card via the Paypal link below, or to pay via check, wire transfer, or other method please contact SJDM Treasurer Bud Fennema at mfennema@business.fsu.edu.

This fund was established in memory of SJDM and EADM member Jane Beattie and her contributions to judgment and decision research. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to subsidize travel to the annual SJDM meeting. The ultimate goal is to support judgment and decision scholars who are not able to attend SJDM due to lack of funding.
